In case you didn’t see it, the article describes the old tradition of cow fighting in the Valais. Unlike the Spanish gladiator-style brawls with bulls, in Switzerland, “the action is largely limited to head-butting, heavy breathing and abundant slobber”. Any resemblance with the current standoff between the U.S. and Switzerland on banking and tax issues is purely coincidental.
