Summit

The third annual ASF Summit will take place in early June, 2026 at the Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue. The Summit will focus on The State of U.S.-Swiss relations and will bring together a cross-section of leaders from both countries. Sessions will be arranged around interconnected topic areas such as trade and business policy, security policy, energy, pharma, and more. The Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue has been purposefully selected as our venue for dialogue, relationship building, knowledge transfer, and the freedom to come up with new ideas in partnership with one another.

INNOVATION FORUM

The inaugural “Innovation Forum: Developing the Workforce of Tomorrow” was launched on October 9, 2025 at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. This landmark gathering brought together leaders from government, industry, and academia to share transatlantic perspectives on labor innovation and workforce development.

The inaugural class of Innovation Fellows is a distinguished group of seventeen state Secretaries of Labor from across the United States.
 
This new annual program will continue to advance the Foundation’s mission by fostering collaboration between Swiss and American leaders, strengthening transatlantic partnerships, and developing innovative solutions to the workforce challenges of the future.

New York Stock Exchange

The American Swiss Foundation programming at the iconic New York Stock Exchange features key Swiss and American business and diplomatic leaders. Through wide-ranging conversations, the leaders examine the state of U.S.-Swiss relations and the broader transatlantic relationship. The conversations bring together distinguished members of both the Swiss and American communities, underscoring the importance of fostering strong Swiss-American relations.

The American Swiss Foundation has been honored to ring the Opening Bell of the New York Stock Exchange today in celebration of the 70th Anniversary, as well as the 77th Anniversary.

 

GREAT AMERICAN SPEAKERs

The Great American Speaker Series was founded by the late Ambassador Faith Whittlesey to bring American thought leaders to Switzerland. In 2023, the ASF’s Great American Speaker was T. Ulrich Brechbuhl, 33rd Counselor of the United States Department of State. In 2022, the ASF featured Dr. Alex Karp, co-founder and CEO of Palantir Technologies. Past Great American Speakers have also included a Supreme Court Justice, Chairman of the SEC, and U.S. Ambassador to the World Trade Organization.

GALLATIN FORUM

The Gallatin Forum is a series of events for alumni of the American Swiss Foundation's Young Leaders Conference and others interested in U.S.-Swiss relations. Named after the Swiss-born Secretary of the Treasury, Senator, and Representative Albert Gallatin (1761 - 1849), it serves as a forum for discussion of all aspects of the relations between the U.S. and Switzerland.
