In 2007, the Young Leaders Conference, sponsored by UBS and Swiss International Air Lines, was held for a third time in Thun. The classes of 1991 and 1995 were also hosted in Thun and experienced the beauty of Switzerland’s Bernese Oberland region.

The class of 2007 included the Honorable Dane Eagle, member of the Florida House of Representatives representing the 77th District, and acting majority leader of the Florida House; The Honorable Tim Rave, former member of the South Dakota Senate representing the 25th District; Pietro Mona, Swiss Ambassador for Development, Forced Displacement and Migration at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs; Martin Müller, CFO for corporate solutions at Swiss Re; Franco Monti, a senior partner at Monti Stampa Furrer & Partners; Bay Fang, executive editor at Radio Free Asia; Dr. Matthias Benz, economics correspondent at Neue Zürcher Zeitung; Terry Babcock-Lumish, executive secretary at the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation; and Anna Soellner, director of communications at Reddit.
