The sixth Young Leaders Conference, sponsored by Ciba-Geigy, F. Hoffmann-La Roche, and Swissair, was held for a second time in Thun at the distinguished Hotel Seepark. This conference was especially notable, as the current U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland, Edward T. McMullen, Jr., was selected to participate in 1995. He is the first U.S. Young Leader to be appointed Ambassador to Switzerland.
