Congressman Steve Driehaus (YL ’06) (D-Ohio) served four terms in the Ohio House of Representatives before winning a U.S. House of Representatives race in the 2008 national election to represent the Cincinnati area. 

Steve is not alone among Conference alumni who serve in the U.S. House. Congressman Ben Chandler (YL ’98) (D-Kentucky), who first went to the Congress in 2004, and Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (YL ’04) (D-Arizona), who was elected in 2006, were both reelected in their 2008 contests.
