On Wednesday, May 4, 2016, the American Swiss Foundation hosted its 71st Annual Gala Dinner honoring Paul Bulcke, CEO, Nestlé S.A., in New York.



12th Annual Young Leaders Reunion, Rüschlikon

The annual panel discussion and dinner was held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue in Rüschlikon.


Annual Board Meeting and Luncheon, New York

On Monday, March 14, 2016, a luncheon was held featuring Cristobal Alex (Young Leader 2015) on The Role of Hispanic Voters in the 2016 Elections, following the Annual Meeting of the American Swiss Foundation in New York.


26th Annual Young Leaders Conference, Zurich, Switzerland

The 26th annual Young Leaders Conference, hosted in partnership with Credit Suisse, took place from November 7-14, 2015 in Zurich, Switzerland. The 2015 Young Leaders Alumni Reception and Dinner was held during the conference on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in Bern, Switzerland.



Building Bridges 2015, Washington, D.C.

The Building Bridges 2015 conference brought together many of the now more than 1,000 alumni of the Young Leaders Conference from September 30 to October 2, 2015 in Washington, D.C. for in-depth discussions on current issues in U.S. - Swiss relations. A special Gala Dinner at the Newseum honored the alumni serving in the U.S. Congress and Swiss Parliament on October 1, 2015.



Gallatin Forum II: "Direct Democracy in the United States and Switzerland," Washington, D.C.

On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, the American Swiss Foundation presented the second Gallatin Forum, a series of discussion events so named for Albert Gallatin, "America's Swiss Founding Father." Panelists Michael Barone, Author of The Almanac of American Politics (Young Leaders 1993) and Dr. Angel Serna, Head Government & Industry Affairs for Switzerland, Zurich Insurance Group (Young Leader 2006) weighed in on "Direct Democracy in the United States and Switzerland: Advantages and Disadvantages." The event was hosted by Francis Bouchard, Senior Consultant, Zurich Public Affairs and Member of the Board of Directors of the American Swiss Foundation.

The American Swiss Foundation and Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce were proud to present a conversation with Sergio P. Ermotti, Group Chief Executive Officer of UBS, on Monday, June 22, 2015.


70th Anniversary Gala Dinner, New York

A festive gala dinner celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the American Swiss Foundation took place on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Hosted by H.E. Ambassador Martin Dahinden and Foundation Chairman Steven G. Hoch, the event featured a keynote address by Joseph Jimenez, Chief Executive Officer of Novartis International AG, and remarks by Ambassador Dahinden about the importance of innovation for the United States, Switzerland, and the world.

Launch of the Gallatin Forum, Washington, DC

Young Leaders gathered in Washington to launch the Gallatin Forum, a series of discussion events so named for Albert Gallatin, "America's Swiss Founding Father." Paul Bakus, President of Corporate Affairs at Nestlé USA, and Janet Voute, Global Head of Public Affairs at Nestlé S.A., engaged in conversation about "Creating Shared Value: The Role of Business in Society."
