American Swiss Foundation

The American Swiss Foundation concentrates on a program that emphasizes its Young Leaders alumni. These are Swiss and Americans, aged late 20s to early 40s, who have participated in one of the American Swiss Foundation Young Leaders Conferences held in Switzerland annually. From previous Conferences -- 18 in all since the program was initiated in 1989 by Ambassador Faith Whittlesey, our Chairman Emeritus -- the alumni group now numbers some 750. Each year approximately 50 more Young Leaders are added to this group, as a Conference is completed.

The focus of our program -- the Conference in Switzerland, the Annual Dinner in New York, and Panel Discussions throughout the U.S. -- is on the Young Leaders, past and present classes. In all these events, the Young Leaders take leading roles in the program. Speaking, introducing speakers, participating on panels, acting as moderators, the Young Leaders are invariably in the spotlight at American Swiss Foundation events!
